If "TopGear" and "Friends" had a baby car, then this would definitely be it.
The perfect mix between an enjoyable sunset ride with your friends or lover (this is not a marriage material car) with the roof down until you put it into sports mode and gripping tight on your seat.
Yes, for a 2 litre diesel engine the car is quite fast - not as a Turbo S model but it is definitely cheaper to maintain plus the fuel economy is much ... much better (trust me!).
For maintenance, the car has full service history on paper - both via BMW or 3rd party garage. Oil changed every 10-12 thousand kms. Turbocharger replaced with brand new after 160,000km so no worries about breaking any time soon!
The car is not perfect - neither on the outside or inside. There are small dents and starches - some visible , some not but hey - you are buying a 10 year old car. For its years, it is one of the last (if not THE last model) of hard rooftop convertible cars ... 4 seaters. If you stop next to a Porsche or Aston Martin and you start taking your roof down, you will definitely turn all the heads - despite having a car that is few times cheaper. Also, chances that someone asks for your number increases by tons. Trust me. Tested. Proven. Worked!
In terms of extras, you have:
- Leather seats (duh!)
- Heated (if you ever need that!)
- Big Sat Nav
- M PACKAGE (sport wheels, steering wheel)
- Some other extras I probably don't know about
- Did I mention how cool the roof goes down?
All in all, I have been owning this car for over 3 years and it is the most fun I have ever had. I have driven tons of luxury cars - Porches, Bentleys, RS cars but nothing gave me the feeling of freedom as this little baby.
