Fully restored recently. Spent 5 years slowly to get it into a very good condition as it was brand new. The car had been owned by my grandfather from 1984 (imported from England with 1 owner only) until 5 years ago where he gave it to me.

Registered historic vehicle with MOT done this month. For this reason the road tax and insurance is heavily discounted.

The value of this car will only go up as it is very rare now. The engine is the original 280 that has a very long history and it is the latest revision and application to any car by Mercedes.

Excellent acceleration and suspension. A great car to ride and even use daily. I have fitted it a rear camera for reverse too and bluetooth radio.

Brand new full leather interior. Lots of new mechanical components and in general very good throughout. Spent a lot of money on it to restore it.

Some of the work done (note all work done used original replacement parts directly from Germany and the UK and other countries around the world as they are difficult to find):

- full repaint and underseal (zero rust)
- full new leather upholstery and carpets
- sunroof fully redone with new seals and mechanism
- electrical system fully checked and where there was an issue it was repaired
- full refurbishment of the fuel injector directly from the factory in Germany
- new steering rods
- new central shaft bush and connector
- new coil system

- brand new fuel pumps
- engine major full service
- automatic gearbox major full service
- aircon pump reconditioned
- radiator fully cleaned and tested
- new sparks and plugs
- new fuel injectors
- new radio system with reverse camera (original also available)
- new speakers (original replacement)
- new antenna (original replacement)
- new bushes where needed all round the car
- new tires

The car has been restored to last and drives brilliantly. It even has cruise control.

A great investment with minimal maintenance.
